Since the introduction of the Disibility Discrimination Act (DDA) Induction Loop Systems for the hard of hearing have become part of standard installations in both hotels and public buildings.
In their simplest form an induction loop system can comprise an inexpensive desk microphone and amplifier fitted to a reception desk. The audio signal from the microphone is fed into the amplifier and a magnetic field is then induced in the loop cable which can then be picked up by the telecoil installed within all modern hearing aids.
However where large areas are needed to be covered, a number of adjacent rooms are needed or privacy / confidentially is requested then there is a need to provide low spill systems so that loops do not interfere with each other or people outside of the room can not listen in to the conversation inside.
We have installed numerous different types of these systems in hotel conference rooms, public buildings and government offices ensuring both client satisfaction and legislative requirements are fully met.
We can provide guideance and advice for any requirement.
